Data Deletion Instructions

Generous LLC respects your right to control your personal data. You can request deletion of your Generous account and associated personal data at any time, including any data we received when you connected or signed in with Facebook, Instagram, or another Meta service.

Request Deletion in the App

1. Sign in to your Generous account at generousss.com.
2. Go to Settings and scroll to the Danger Zone section.
3. Select Delete my account and confirm your request.

Request Deletion by Email

Email hello@generousss.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" from the email address associated with your account. If you signed in with Facebook or Instagram, please include the name on that account so we can locate your data. We will verify your identity before processing the request.

Removing Generous from Facebook or Instagram

You can remove Generous's access in your Facebook settings under Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites, then select Generous and choose Remove. Removing Generous from Facebook revokes Meta's access and stops future data sharing, but it does not delete your Generous account or the data we already hold. To delete your account and data, submit a request using one of the options above.

What We Delete

• Your profile and account information (name, email, photo, and sign-in connections)
• Gatherings, registries, lists, boards, messages, and other content you created
• Any profile data received from Facebook, Instagram, or other sign-in providers

Timing and Retained Information

We aim to complete verified account deletion requests within 30 days. Certain information may be retained when required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, tax, or other legitimate compliance purposes, and we may keep de-identified, aggregated analytics as described in our Privacy Policy.
